Migration from Klarna to Kustom endpoints

Kustom is upgrading its API infrastructure. By March 31, 2026, all API traffic must transition from klarna.com endpoints to kustom.co endpoints.

What does this mean for merchants running the Klarna extension on Litium 7 or older?

Ensure you are running version 4.7.128 of the Klarna extension.

What happens if these actions are not completed before March 31?

If a merchant continues using an older version of the Klarna payment app and/or outdated credentials after March 31, communication with both the Kustom Checkout API and the Kustom Order Management API will cease. As a result:

• The Kustom Checkout iframe will no longer load on the checkout page.

• Capture, cancel, or refund transactions on existing orders will no longer be processed.
