Support for Google Universal Analytics and Tag Manager
When creating or editing a website you can choos which type of Google Analytics account you want to add; Classic, Universal or Tag manager.
Connect a website to an assortment
In the same panel you can also connect a website to an assortment. This simplyfies when the customer doesn't want to have a product group called "All products" as a top node, but for example "Men/Women/Kids". By connecting the web site and the main assortment they only need to create the top menu link pages for each menu item.
You can still connect a cms page of type "Product catalog page" to a product group. It is also possible to mix the two ways.
Multi select fields in the Product catalog
There is now the possibility to multi select values for the fields that are of the type "text short" and are "alternative fields". The gives users and developers tagging possibilities.
Hidden fields in the Product catalog
There is a setting for fields (when creating or editing) to hide the field from back office users. The field will not be shown when editing an entity in back office, but can be used in panels.
Simpler to build and manage filters
A new setting is added in the control panel to tag any product field as a "filter" field. In Accelerator 4 the field appears as default in a panel in the product catalog where the editor can define which fields to be used as filters for a particular product group.
Consistent GUI for array fields
Array properties in the Publishing module now uses the same GUI pattern as in E-commerce (example adding products for a campaign). The grids are sortable with drag and drop.
Litium Studio developer license now only works on localhost
The developer licensed shipped with Litium Studio has been limited only to work on localhost. Any requests made from non-localhost will receive an error message. Therefore, os soon as you go to test environment you need to request a new license. Make sure the project prepares for this in time.
System password is removed for increased security
In order to increase secutity the option to login as "System" with a password has been removed.
For developers working in projects to login, Litium Studio allows Windows accounts that are members of the server (or developer machine) administrator's group. The account can be a local server account or a domain account. When logging in with the windows account no account will be created in Litium Studio for this login, but technically you will be logged in as "System" with full permissions.
The Windows account login only works for the Litium Studio back office login page. To log in on the public site a regular Litium Studio account is needed. This means that the back office login page handles both logging in with Windows credentials and Litium Studio login. For Litium Studio to know when a Windows account should be used, the username should contain a '\' (backslash) to separate the domain and the username in a Windows pre-2000 mode.
Updated website icon functionality
There is now the possibility to upload a website icon in Web Publishing under "Website settings" (and in the Control Panel when editing a website). The icon will be shown in the back office page tree as well as favicon on the public website. If uploaded in 250x250 px it will automatically scale to all different browsers and devices. For mobile devices it will also be used when adding a website to the homescreen.
Product groups can be hidden in menu
Just lika e page in Web Publishing can be hidden in menu there is now the option to do the same with product groups in the Product catalog.
Media archive dialog improvements
The dialog that appears when fetching images from the Media Archive has been improved:
- A new search field with auto complete functionality
- Images are listed as thumbnails
- The "Upload"-button is removed - when a user selects "OK/INSERT" the image uploads automatically
- It is now possible to create a new media archive folder directly in the dialog window
New website settings
We have added some new settings in the control panel for priceagents, sitemap, secure connection and robots.txt. The settings can be different for different websites if needed.
Formatting prices
When formatting prices the textformat och currency symbol need to be separate strings, otherwise the text cannot be formatted on the site. Therefore we have added new fields for Currency symbol and Group separator. You can now use white space as group separator (i.e. "100.000 kr" -> "100 000 kr") on the site.
New widget included in the dashboard - Page top list
Get a quick overview of your website's most visited pages everytime you login to back office. The Page Top List widget has been available as an add-on but is now included in Litium Studio.
