Fields and field templates
A person, group or an organization needs to have a field template. A field template will specify what information that can be stored on each object.
Field template types
Relations module field templates can be found in Backoffice, Control Panel > Relations > Field Templates
It exists three different field template types: person, group and organization. They have all different information objects tied to themselves. Every field template type will have an amount of static fields but it is also possible to add custom fields to the field template. The static fields will always be included in the field template (they are connected to other modules) but they can be hidden. That is a setting that you can handle when you are editing the field template.

Following image shows the fields that are included by default (static fields) and you may add additional fields by using the "add field" button shown to the bottom.

Fields
A field can be included in several field templates. A field consists of following attributes:
- Field type: What type the field should be. Image, date, decimal, file, boolean and textbox
- Settings for administration: If the field should be visible and editable, visible or hidden inside Litium Studio Relations.
- Settings for my page:If the field should be visible and editable, visible or hidden when current user editing the values on the page template My Page.
- Mandatory: If it is mandatory or not.
- Alternatives: If it should exists alterantives (I.e. Red, Green etc).
Adding a custom field
To add a custom field to the template, it need to be defined in the "fields" list. Go to Control Panel > Relations > Fields and add the field you would like to have.
Then edit the field template in "Control Panel > Relations > Field Templates", and add this field.
