Warehouses
In Litium Studio it is easy to work with and display stock amount from different warehouses for products on the website. This can be very usefull for the customer to see if the product is in stock and you can use that information when you create the delivery rules to calculate the estimated delivery date for an order.
This section explains how to create warehouses and stock balance.
Creating warehouses
Stock balance of the of articles are kept in warehouses, and they can be created from Product Catalog > Stock and Price > Stock balance section.
It is possible to create a warehouse using the "New -> Warehouse" menu alternative but it creates only the warehouse. Therefore it is better to use "Import" menu alternative since it both creates a warehouse and adds the stock balance of the articles to the warehouse. There is no other possibility to add stock balance of the articles. In order to change the stock balances of a warehouse: export the warehouse, make the neccessary changes on the xml-file then import the xml-file again.
