Products
An article or a variant group is always displayed in a website as a product. The same item might result in several products and be published in various ways. This section explains how to create and publish them.
Products in Litium Studio product catalog are like "placeholders" for the articles and variant groups. In other words, each product holds either an article or a varaint group.
All the "Products" are organized into product groups, and "Product groups" are organized into "Assortments". (Links to the end of this page explains more about product groups and assortments)
Create Products
To create a product, drag and drop an article onto the product group that the product should be present.
Publishing a product
"Published" and "Un published" are two states of a product. Published means it is ready to be avaibale over the public website. Unpublished means tha product is effectively "taken offline" - i.e unavailable through public website.
To show products in public site, in CMS module, add a "Product Catalog" page into a website and published that page. Then all published products from the selected product group will be shown in the webstie.
