Price lists and pricing
To set unit list prices to articles, create a price list in Litium Studio backoffice under Product Catalog>Stock and Price>Price Lists, and select a price list and then use the menu Pricing>Set Price to set prices to articles. Alternative you can edit the article and set the prices. This section explains how to create prices lists and set prices to articles in detail.
Creating price lists
Prices of articles are kept in price lists, and they can be created from Product Catalog > Stock and Price > Price lists section.

The price list is created for a given currency, and can have a validity time interval. Also, you may define the specific user groups or organizations that the price list is valid for, and also choose an assortment for which the price list is valid.
If neither groups, organizations nor assortments is selected, the price list is valid for all groups, all organizations and all assortments.
Pricing articles
There are several ways of assigning prices to your articles:
- Add articles to price list: here you may assign a single price to a batch of articles.
Select the price list and click set price.

- Add price lists to articles, from article edit: here you may assign multiple price lists to a single article.
Select an article and click edit, and go to "Prices and Stock" tab.

- You may export the whole price list, change the prices in the exported xml file, and then import the prices back. This method is more suitable when you have a third party system which can generate article prices for you.
Website Currency and Price Lists
The default litium studio price web control, Litium.Foundation.Modules.ProductCatalog.WebControls.ArticlePrice, shows the price for the products in the current websites currency. Therefore, if you have a website in a particular currency, you should also have a price list for that currency.
