We've updated the .NET framework to version 7. Microsoft emphasizes the performance enhancements as the key component of .NET 7, as well as being a modern, unified and simple to use framework.

React accelerator RC 2
The React accelerator is release in RC2. Release candidate is the first stage with official support and when we recommend partners to start using it in projects. Features are not ported 1:1 from the MVC accelerator, so please update yourself on the details by reading the docs and checking whether the features you need are built or still planned.

The React accelerator is only accessible to customers running on Litium Commerce Cloud and please note that you can run it locally and in your own development environments. Support for running it in Litium serverless cloud will come later this October.
The headless React accelerator is built on React and Next.JS and has all the tools and frameworks you would expect from a modern single page application. It is designed mobile first for a better and updated user experience.
The new react accelerator has its own description and release notes, but here are some of the new things delivered this time.
Ability to show a product page
The new product page in the React accelerator has a modernized design and a mobile first design. The information structure is improved with expandable sections for product fields, instead of tabs. Also viewing images in zoom has a completely new improved look and functionality.

Ability to use an article page
The new article page in the React accelerator has been improved to handle both blocks and a left menu for subpages. There is a convenient setting to show or hide the left menu increasing the versatility of the page. It also comes with a modernized design.

Ability for user to get an order confirmation
With this ability there are two new features introduced. First, a new a new order confirmation page and second, the ability for the React accelerator to send an order confirmation email to a user who has placed an order.

Ability to handle permanent redirects
With this ability you can configure permanent redirects for a React accelerator installation.
Ability to use website strings
With this ability you can configure and use website strings in the React accelerator to handle translations.
Litium Storefront API RC 5
The Storefront API is released in release candidate stage, which means it is officially suppported and recommended to use in customer projects.
Coverage of new functional areas in this release are:
- Ability to search and filter using the Storefront API
- Ability to get base product and it's variants specific data API
