Performance and product wishlists

We are excited to introduce the new February Litium release, with improved performance for the product Excel export and the ability for the platform to support product wishlists for the buyer.

Improved performance for product Excel export

As an administrator, when exporting products and having large amount of products in the system can make the excel export hang or produce errors.

With this improvement, the system's performance is improved, by querying a product index instead of the database.

Manage wishlists

Buyers often has a need to save their product selections for later reference. In B2C, this is commonly used to mark products as favourites. In B2B this is commonly used to save lists of products for repeat purchase. With this feature we introduce the wishlist entity in the platform.

This feature does not include views in the React Accelerator.

Storefront API: Query and manage wishlists

A buyer should be able to save products for later purchase in storefront. To enable this we provide the wishlist entity in the Storefront API.
