How does the Dashboard work?

The Dashboard is made up of widgets. You can choose and customize your own widgets. Just drag and drop widgets onto the dashboard and place them where it's suitable. You can arrange them by dragging them to different panels on the dashboard. The size of a widget depends on in which dashboard panel it is added to. Available widgets are shown in at the top of your dashboard.

Widgets

Widgets are simple applications, for example displaying which working copies you are currently editing in the Websites area. The width is limited but the height is always flexible depending on the content of the widget. Each widget has its own settings that can be set in edit mode. There are a number of widgets included in the product and solution partners can build customer specific widgets.
