Working with product lists
Product lists can be used to define a set of products that are connected to a discount, shown on a special landing page, or simply for the administrator to work within different scenarios when editing the products.
Simple list
”manually add, remove, sort”
A simple list contains products that you add and sort manually.
A simple list contains products that you add and sort manually. You create it like this:
- Go to the Products Area.
- Select Lists in the side menu.
- Select New.
- Give the list a name and tick the box for Simple list.
- Select OK.
Smart list
”dynamic, content based on search conditions, cannot be sorted”
The products in a smart list are there because a filter condition is fulfilled. For example, if you set up a smart list with the condition "Color is red", all products with the color attribute set to red will be part of that list. Products in a smart list cannot be sorted.
- Select the Products tab and then Add products.
- Find and select the products you want to have on the list.
- Select OK.
- When the list has been created, select Save.
Smart lists
A smart list contains products that fulfil one or more conditions. For example, if you set up a smart list with the condition "Color is red", all products with the color attribute set to red will be included. The list is dynamic, so if you add a product with the color attribute set to red later on, the product will be included in the list.
Please note that products in a smart list can't be sorted.
You create it like this:
- Select Products in the top menu.
- Select Lists in the side menu.
- Select New.
- Give the list a name and tick the box for Smart list.
- Select OK.
- Select the Products tab and then Add conditions.
- Set the conditions, scroll down to the end of the menu and select Add condition.
- Add more conditions if required, select Save, and your smart list is ready.
