Base products and variants

Products have two levels: Base product level and variant level. Information in base product level is shared between product variants, for example brand or manufacturer.

Under the base level is the variant level information, with variant-specific information, such as color and size. 

Field template

The field template defines which fields are available and if the field is used for the base product or for the variant.

Start editing

1. Go to the Products area by clicking Products in the top menu.

2. Use the search function to find the product you want to edit. Then mark it in the search result and select Edit, or double-click on the row.

Tip: You can also browse the categories in the assortment, select a category and select the Product tab to find a product.
