Permissions on files and images

Permissions let's you control who can access media. When creating or editing a folder you can set permissions for Groups in Litium. The permissions are used in the backoffice as well as in the public website.

NOTE: When creating a folder, it inherits the permissions of it's parent folder.

Edit permissions of a folder or file

  1. Select a file or folder and click "Edit"
  2. Select the "Permissions" tab
  3. Specify the read and write permissions using the checkboxes. 
  4. Use the checkbox "Same permissions for subfolders and files" to define whether the permissions also should apply for files in the folder, and whether all subfolders should have the same permissions.
