Litium has a permission framework that let's you control which content different persons and groups should get access to. The permissions can be used for both administrators and visitors to the public site.
Groups are used to handle permissions
Permissions and access control is handled using groups.
You define permissions on area specific level.
Area specific permissions
For each area you can define three access levels.
Administration
The user will have access to enter the backoffice of an area. This does automatically give access to the content inside the area.
Content
This option grants the user access to all content in the area.
Settings
This option gives the user access to the Settings of the module.
Permissions on pages, media folders and media
You can set permissions on pages, media foolders and media to control both administrator and vistor access.
Pages
You can set Read, Write och Publish permissions on a page in Sites.
Files
You can set Read and Write permissions on media folders and media.
