Litium Studio Relations
This section contains information about how to develop using the Litium Studio Relations module. This module keeps information about customers, groups, organizations and roles.
A person, group or an organization needs to have a field template. A field template will specify what information that can be stored on each object.
A person is the main object of Litium Studio Relations.
An organization is a way to structure persons, in a hierarchial way. An organization can also be a company in a B2B ECommerce website. An organization can be hierarical and have sub organizations. This is a good solutions if you want to stucture, let say divisions inside a company or geographical areas of a company.
A group is a permission group that can be used when you setup permissions for other modules, such as Litium Studio Media Archive or Litium Studio Web Publishing. A group will have its own field template, so it is possible for the editor to specify group information.
A group created inside Litium Studio Relations can also be found under the Control panel.
With target groups it is possible to categorize anonymous visitors into segments. Once categorized your web site can be built to respond with different promotions and content to different target groups.
A role can be the connection between a person and an organization.
