Products
The Products area is the Product Information Management (PIM) part of Litium.
All product information, including prices and stock balance, is managed in this area. Category structures are defined as assortments, and product lists can be defined here and workflows set up to guide and monitor the team's work progress and the product data health.
To read more about the field framework in the products area, please see Product data modeling.
This section explains how to create product relations. A product or a product group can have a relation to one or many other products or product groups.
This section explains the Litium pricing model. It introduces concepts behind pricing in Litium. It also includes the order in which price calculations are done, and when they should be done.
Litium has built-in support for interaction with price agents.
This section describes stock balance calculation and how to change the implementation to fetch information from a third-party system.
An inventory in Litium is like a real-life warehouse with an address, telephone number, e-mail address, etc.
Whenever a change is made to product, variant or category, the change is logged and recorded in the History tab of the entity.
