Order cancellations and refund
Litium allows cancellation or refund of money for whole orders. This section describes how. Partial cancellations and partial returns have to be managed in the ERP system.
If an order is cancelled, its delivery needs to be cancelled and the payment needs to be cancelled.
- To cancel the delivery go to the Deliveries view and set the delivery to the Cancelled state.
- To cancel the payment go to the Payments view, select the payment and click Cancel payment. Only reserved payments can be cancelled. If the payment is Paid it means that the money has been collected from the end customer, and therefore needs to be Refunded. To refund the money click Return payment. Note that not all payment providers support refunding money. If the payment provider does not support money refunds, the merchant needs to use an alternative method outside Litium to make the refund.
